2007 | 2006 | 2005 | 2004 | 2003 | 2002

Braided neckpiece from Loop-D-Loop using RY classic yarns in rose. Fast knit on size 11 needles and very unique construction...

Lady Eleanor from Scarf Style. I used size 10 needles and 4 1/2 skeins of a Cherry Tree Hill Pot Luck in blues and greens (6 unique, hand-dyedskeins, with 280 yards each). It blocked to quite a big wrap. I need to add fringe...

FiberTrends Felted Slippers using Lamb's Pride Worsted in pink, purple and brown (on the soles) with a high back.

Kevin's Christmas blanket using Lion Brand Homespun in Colonial. Holding double-stranded, using US size 15 needles, C/O 110.
K 5 rows.
Pattern row 1: K 5, *K10, P10*, K15.
Pattern row 2: K 5, *P10, K10*, P10, K5.
Repeat pattern rows 1 & 2. End with K 5 rows and bind off.

Paternal cousin gifties. Double this, since I made 4 pairs.

Teacher Gifties. Gray Cascade 220 felted mittens, Pink Lamb's Pride felted mittens, Noro Kuryeon felted mittens, Natalya gauntlets in merino, Toasty Toes, Karabella Cashmere blend and KnitPicks alpaca. Whew.

Desi's Santa hat

Coronet hat from Knitty. I made this out of Maxima.

Amy's princess hat from New Knits on the Block. I used Lamb's Pride Worsted in RPM Pink. The princess approves.

Scarves - Railroad scarves are done on the bias (KFB first stitch and K2T on last stitch) and ribbon scarves are drop-stitch

Greg's winter set in Karabella soft tweed in dark gray - *love* this stuff. The hat and mittens are from The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns. The scarf is knit length-wise (C/O about 275 stitches and knit for 20 rows)

Amy's new winter slippers in Araucania Nature Wool #901

Amy's dress from Minnow Knits out of Saucy. I did lots of adaptations to the pattern - made the smaller size width-wise, but added a lot of length.

My yarn from our dyeing adventure (more pictures here)
Oh my gosh! Striping sockies!

Lacy sweater from Rowan and also in Adorable Knits for Tiny Tots. The flower relief (hard to see in the picture) is my first bobble (and my second, third, etc.). I used Plymouth Dreambaby D.K. and size 4 US needles.

Clapotis in Lion and Lamb Gold Hill on size 7 needles. I increased/decreased 5 times instead of 7, to make sure I could get by with 3 skeins. I absolutely love it!

Children's Neckdown Cardigan in the 2-4 size from Knitting Pure and Simple out of GGH Samoa. Yum

Neck Down Shaped Cardigan from Knitting Pure and Simple.

Eros shawl - 2 balls of Eros

Baby Ribbed Hat in Rowan Calmer

One skein wonder in preschool size (C/O 28). Noro Blossom on size 7 needles.

Opal socks in a k3p1 rib. Simple socks from Cool Socks, Warm Feet on size 0.

Last Minute Knitted Gifts cotton hat and placket sweater (go to Purl Soho for pattern corrections) out of Classic Elite Star (5 skeins total). This is in the 4-6 size on #5 needles. I would block the sleeves out a bit longer. The color is truer on the flat picture - the sunlight behind my model makes the sweater more orange-y.

Projects for the shop and classes
Fuzzy feet in Lamb's Pride and Whisper / Oven mitts in Cottage Craft Black Cherry

Felted Knits vest, pre-felted. It goes down to my knees! This is made from approx 4 hanks of Cottage Craft yarn in Black Cherry.

Baby presents for Bella. Last Minute Knitted Gifts cotton hat and placket sweater (go to Purl Soho for pattern corrections) out of Classic Elite Star (3 skeins total) and feather and fan blanket out of stash.

Art Yarns Regal Silk - feather and fan scarf for the shop

Later Gator mittens for Amy from Stitch 'n Bitch Nation. These are made in the smallest size out of Encore.

Tiny ribby tank like last year's only a bit longer in the body (8" total). Love this pattern, Maggi!
Lily Sugar 'n Cream (2 balls - 1 of each yarn), #5 needles.

Mr. Grayson Needle Felted Cat from Urban Arts and Crafts

Simple socks from Cool Socks, Warm Feet in Lorna's Laces Watercolor in shepherd sock weight. (CO 72 using size 0 Addi)

Fulled Lopi bags (red one is Lambs' Pride Bulky, but it works...) One modification to the pattern was making the handle only 12 stitches (instead of 20). I did this after the middle one looked way too floppy.

Oven mitts and hot pad from Felted Knits done in bulky Lambs' Pride

Mucho felted flowers in various wools. From the Wooly Embellishments patterns by Two Old Bags. I made them stem-less and added pins on the back.
