Amy's Photo Gallery

May and June 2007

June 27, 2007 - Amy's front two baby teeth were sorta loose, but nowhere close to coming out. Unfortunately, her permanent teeth were growing behind her baby teeth and needed to have room to grow. The dentist had to help Amy out with her first two teeth. She went to the chair area by herself, got some numbing agent and the teeth were out in no time. And with no tears! (Of course, I was sitting in the waiting area, a nervous wreck...)

June 18, 2007 - Amy started Kindergarten summer school today. Her school has a free, voluntary summer school. It's all day long for six weeks. The school is French-immersion and they weren't joking. Her teacher spoke to each of them individually in French. Amy put away her school supplies, lunch and backpack with a stunned look on her face. Amy asked a question and the teacher pointed to the location and answered her in French. She sat down at a table and started coloring with other kids. Her class has other kids she knows from the block, preschool, play groups, tee ball. I know she'll be fine. Me, I'm in tears...My baby...

June 2007 - Amy and Mark visited Claflin. They rode horses, played with the cats and visited the Cosmosphere.

June 9, 2007 - FBWC's annual Walk for Hope around Loose Park. Amy liked the balloon man, who made her both a penguin and a long-neck dinosaur. Amy also made a kite and flew it by the rose garden.

June 2007 - More of Amy playing tee ball. Check out her stance on the pitcher's mound!

June 3, 2007 - Amy performed at the Beller Dance recital and had a great time. We had front row seats, so we could see all the action. Great show!

May 2007 - Amy is playin Tee Ball with the YMCA. She played in her first game and loved it. Everyone on both teams gets an opportunity to bat. When the team is through the line-up, the teams switch. The games are three innings or one hour and no one keeps score. It's great fun for her and quite the comedy to watch!

May 2007 - Amy in her dance outfit for Beller's recital - make-up, sequins and a tutu. Could life get any better?

May 2007 - Amy practicing catching in the backyard. She's playing Tee ball and has used Archie as a practice second base. He doesn't seem to mind.
