July and August 2007
August 23, 2007 - Amy's first day of Kindergarten at her French-immersion
school. It's a charter school, within walking distance of our home.
She had attended a 6-week summer school program here and has the
same teacher. She happily walked into her classroom, ready to learn!
August 2007 - Our trip to Chicago. We got to play with cousins and
aunts and uncles. Amy saw Sue
the T-Rex, a brief view of the new Evolving
Planet exhibit (fantastic) and mummies at the Field
Museum. The cat was not happy we came home, once he realized
dress-up was involved...
August 2007 - Our old dog Archie had a health
scare this month, so he received a lot of extra TLC...
July 2007 - Aunt JoJo made matching dresses for Amy and her American
Girl doll. The cat was unimpressed with the fashion show, but Amy
loves the dress!
