March 2006 - Sleepyhead, after a big vacation weekend. But there
was time to make a Troll grotto...
March 2006- A trip to Claflin to visit GrandDad. Happiness is a
DVD in the car. Other highlights were horse-riding and museum-visiting.
The animatronic dinosaur scared the bejeebers out of her.
March 2006 - At the St. Patrick's Day parade. Her favorite part
were the drum corps, that made her "heart pound"!
March 2006 - Bowling with stylish shoes. Stretching is a must before
you roll that ball down the bumper-bowling alley. Amy came in 2nd
place with a total of 146 (2 rounds).
March 2006 - Amy's Yue-Sai Wawa from Nanning. We've had major ding-donging
for this doll to be removed from her place of honor next to the
White Swan Barbie and taken out of the box. A happy little girl
finally received her wish...
Jan 2006 - Welcoming in the Year of the Dog, Amy performed at a
Chinese New Year celebration. She danced with Miss Lily's dance
class, doing a bunny dance and a ribbon dance. Performing was quite
exciting! (The first two pictures were in a local paper, taken by
a photographer...)
Jan 2006 - Amy, getting ready to go to preschool. I joined her and
taught about Chinese New Year. We read a couple of books, ate popcorn
with chopsticks and made origami dogs (to celebrate the year of
the dog)
